Hello, and thanks for visiting my blog!
I’m a practicing Emergency Medicine physician in Nevada and a proud first-generation college student. My journey along the long road to becoming a physician inspired me to start this blog as a way to share the stories, lessons, and advice I’ve picked up along the way.
I’m a University of Nevada, Reno alumni and attended the Kirk Kerkorian School of Medicine at UNLV as a member of its charter class. I then completed my Emergency Medicine residency in Corpus Christi, Texas.
Outside of medicine, I’m a boy mom, wife to my husband, Dominic, who I’ve been with since 2013, and a dog mom. When I’m not working, I love walking, hiking, reading, and writing.
