I graduated from Emergency Medicine Residency in Corpus Christi Texas in June 2024. I graduated with my M.D. from the University of Nevada Las Vegas School of Medicine (now called the Kirk Kerkorian School of Medicine at UNLV) in May 2021. I’m a proud first generation college student and I’ve dreamed of becoming a physician for as long as I can remember.
My husband Dominic and I have been together since 2013, and we eloped in Tahoe on 4/24/2021. In my free time, I love to go hiking and explore new National and State parks, especially with my dogs by my side. I also love just relaxing and watching a new show, and I enjoy writing for my blog whenever I can.
The views and expressions written here are not representative of my medical school, residency program, current employers, or any other organization in an official capacity.
None of the advice I give is meant to take the place of advisors or mentors. I’m simply sharing my journey and some lessons I’ve learned, but this is just one person’s perspective, and everyone will have their own path through medical school and residency.
