I want to take this moment in time

And to love myself.
I will be a wife, I will be a doctor, I will be a homeowner, I will be an emergency medicine intern…in all of these beautiful firsts, I want to soak each moment in fully and deeply.

Because my mind’s baseline is to race, and to go somewhere other than exactly where my feet are.

For having my partner in this life, my Dominic.
For my journey, because all the good and the bad led me exactly where I am today.
For the opportunities I’ve had thanks to being part of the Charter Class at UNLV School of Medicine.
For my health and my body, which I work every day not to take for granted.
For my family and friends who have helped me grow.
